EVENTS: IFSEC Future of Security Competition 2011

Source: Info4Security – The IFSEC Future of Security Competition is a newly-launched annual contest that aims to find the next generation of security innovations. Brian Sims reports.

United Business Media Live Division’s Security Portfolio wants to challenge the brightest minds in security technology from around the world to submit radically new ideas and game-changing technologies for the IFSEC Future of Security Competition.

In essence, we have a burning desire to uncover the creative capabilities of innovators in universities and small-to-medium-sized enterprises who have been turning their attentions towards security needs.

We want to unearth state-of-the-art security innovations, and challenge the brightest minds in security technology from around the world to submit radically new ideas and game-changing technologies.

All we ask is that applicants must offer a technological innovation that can be used to prevent, defend against, recover from or cope with terrorist incidents and other criminal acts.
